GitLab 18.5.2 Patch Release Brings Key Fixes and Improvements

GitLab has announced the immediate availability of GitLab 18.5.2, a critical patch release addressing two important regressions introduced in the previous version. Users and administrators are strongly encouraged to upgrade to this version as soon as possible to ensure optimal performance and security.

This update includes fixes for:

  • Significant LDAP login issues that affected user authentication in 18.5.1
  • A project import problem during group and user transfers, now resolved for greater system stability

Both the Community Edition (CE) and Enterprise Edition (EE) are updated with these corrections. GitLab recommends that all users upgrade at their earliest convenience to benefit from smoother operation and restored functionality.
